I posted a long time ago that I was repairing a 95 that had a small engine fire, from the rail, but was put out instantly...etc.. Well I got it finished, it took a while, and after a lot of parts, and even more time, it was time to start it. And it did start......after running for a few minutes it started to bellow white smoke out the exh. and through the breathers. So, Im about 99% sure it has a blown head gasket....I talked to a friend/GM mechanic, and he told me not to lose hope that it may still have some water in it from sitting so long and from having the fire put out(was put out with water not chemical) Anyway assuming that it is the head gasket I will have to let the car go, I have dropped a ton into it and cant go any deeper....So if you or anyone you know would like a very pretty black 95, fully loaded, including roof, with the autobahn package, make me an offer. I battled the beast, and am pretty sure that I lost.
anyone interested email me at spencer@fastservers.net

I will be up to see it and sulk more this weekend and will take some pics. Its black with tan interior the body is as good as you could hope for a 95, and drivers seat is showing a little wear otherwise its pretty good. Trunk is amazingly clean. Just to give an idea of what I have put in. It has all new belts and hoses, most of the sensors are new, I also replaced anything under the hood that was plastic ie tanks, master cylinder, booster, etc. It is sitting on 18"enkei rims which I will probably have to keep, but I do have the stock rims. Anyway, I will try and get some pics of it up next week, possibly sooner if I have time to sneak up to where its located. (about an hour away)
thx

how many miles? also just to let people know, a head gasket job is around $4,000 usd, if you have it done at a dealer, mostly because it requires pulling the engine and the use of about 10 different special tools. but you could probably do it yourself for around $800 if you have the time, a cherry picker, and order all the special tools, all while having the dealer's manual as your best friend. ;D
