Just FYI. A friend of mine bought some chrome 17"ers off eBay. They are the kind that are factory wheels stripped and chromed. He said the chrome has worn very poorly and he'll probably retire the wheels soon and go back to his factory 16"s. The chrome was only about two years old.
If you buy a refinished chrome wheel, make sure it's a quality job. Don't just go for the cheapest stuff or it may not last very well.

Keep watching Ebay, I picked up my 2000+ SSEi rims from a club member at BonnevilleClub for $400 USD (an absolute steal considering the General wants over $500 USD for each rim)...and that doesnt include centre cap and lugs.
Ebay is your best bet...they do come up often.

This is the kind of listing where I'd e-mail the seller and make a private offer (if the auction ends with no bidders, which it probably will). Just be aware you will NOT have the eBay buyer protections that way, if you get the wheels in different shape than they are described...

Yeah, and they are not in perfect shape anyway, as described a bit (they always downtalk it in the ad), so visit the wheels to both save on shipping and see them yourself - if possible - and pay him cash there.
