Also try tire shops in your area... many of them will sell and mount used tires they have around the shop, at a fraction of the retail cost.

Yeah, check the wheel. I hit a part of a back road where the tar had deteriorated - sharp edge - in my old New Beetle once and tore the two passenger tires to shreds. The wheels were bent from the impact, too!

Thanks for all the quick replies! No drink was involved, but I think a problem with my left eye may have contributed to the incident. I quickly found out from places like Tire Rack that the GA was discontinued, but before I went to bed I found tires-easy.com, and they claim to have it! I already have a dent-free spare wheel - I hope that was the one it was meant to replace! BTW, I got that donut on in about 15 minutes! Thanks again for your responses.
