What's that on the front right wheel? I can't quite make it out... A chrome center cap. I think all that needs to be said is in the reflection of this pic: I think that one's beyond salvaging. Another option-less wonder. WTF with the black roof though? If the 100 degree plus summers aren't hot enough, lets paint the roof black so the black interior gets hot enough to boil water. Notice the absence of the driver's seat in the pics which has tears. That black interior does not age well. It looks like it has 200k on it. The driver's door armrest is completey faded. Any opinions on how I should put this one to sleep?

No problem. A good fake leather tonneau cover should cover up most of those styling miscues.

Maybe, but how do you get the image of the guy with the funny hat out of the paint?

I'd rather keep him in there. Someone spent a lot of time painting that.

did you read where it says cosmetically the car has " a few minor issues like glue over running from the mouldings"!!!!!!!! lmao!!!!! thats more than just a minor issue....looks like the reveal mouldings around the back window came loose(happens alot on classics...happened to me) and someone glued it back on with body filler or something....shame since the rest of the cars decent...a good body shop could straighten it out right

i think there's a little over-reacting going on here. with a little tlc that car would be fine.

i think there's a little over-reacting going on here. with a little tlc that car would be fine. That's true, but my problem is that that is supposedly a professional auto sales outlet (I suppose they just sell on eBay), and they're trying to sell that car as a low-mileage, good original condition car, and they're asking darn near top dollar for it (they didn't sell it at $3600, as the Buy-It-Now [and presumably the reserve] is $5495). But just by looking at the pictures, it's got quite a few problems that need to be straightened out before it actually looks good, and you can buy better-looking, all-original examples of the Classic Aurora all day long on eBay for less money, with just a few more miles. That color is ludicrous, the molding does obviously have problems (who knows... could've leaked a bunch of water into the interior before they glued it!), and who in their right mind thinks that one chrome center cap looks good on a car with non-chrome wheels? I'd rather buy one without a center cap. At least then you don't get the feeling they're trying to foist a sugar-coated lemon on you.

I don't think there's over-reacting. If I come across it, I probably would walk away. To fix that horrible color change is more then tlc.
