Man, I'd managed to steer clear of dents for a long time. Sure there are small chips and such, and there's one or two small chips from a door, but no dents. All that has changed now... Apparently the Aurora picked up a dent on the back passenger side door, rather high up on it too. It's not too noticable, though. But it sort of sucks. I guess it probably happened in the last month, most likely on a recent road trip. :-\ As an aside, I Klasse'd up the car this weekend and then put on an application of Zaino Z5. The Klasse went on real nice. I like that stuff. Klasse AIO is such an easy prep step. It has decent chemical cleaning and leaves a shiny smooth surface behind. It's very easy to use. The Zaino was sort of a why not because I felt like doing something. I thought about a carnauba wax, but mehh, went with the sealants instead.

sorry to hear about that first dent Bob. I'd be upset too if I had a car as immaculate as yours. I get upset enough when I see new dents/scratches and mine's far from immaculate.

That sucks bob. You kept that thing so nice. It looks like a factory new car all the time. Even the engine bay does. Obviously you take great pride in ownership of it.
I only have 2 or 3 dents on mine. I had 8 or 9 of them when i got it -- lost count. Had them all fixed.

Ouch. It's such a small dent though, only the loving owner would notice. I wonder if one of those paintless dent-repair places can fix it?

That's why whenever I park in a parking lot, I park as far away from other cars as possible.

I swear there's people out there that would damage a car because it looks nice. Have a scratch on my hood that I can't explain and it could be act of vandalism.

I guess I'll buy it off ya cheap if'n you don't want it anymore. LOL, yeah to really fix that dent right, the car will need a full-on $10,000 strip-down, body smoothing, and repaint. So I guess if I knock that off the price you can have it for $37. You have to get here in the next 5 minutes, though, before my wife buys it from me.

Was recently looking at the '01... From certain angles, there's one little outward dent on the driver's side quarter panel. I can't even take a picture of it. It's barely noticeable. I've heard of this on other 2nd-Gen Auroras, and not on any other car. Anyone else w/ this problem?

I never understood those fake shutters. Why??? You can't say because of looks, because they just look silly, both in style and function. ahhh. Sorry, off topic, nevermind. But I had to post this.
