What companies make intakes for our cars? Specifically the 2nd Gen V8's......Also, if you have an intake on yours what is it and how do you like it?

Please use the 'Search' feature under the ACNA logo (top of the page) and check out some of the many previous threads that discuss this topic.
Generally for our Auroras, you'll find little to no power gain from aftermarket intakes... maybe even a power *loss* because many "cool"-looking intake kits pull in hot air from the engine compartment, rather than cooler air from the wheelwell (as the stock airbox does). You can "gut" your airbox and install a K&N air filter, but then you'll need aftermarket exhaust for best results (it doesn't help to pull in a bunch more air to the engine, if it gets hung up on the way out). Hope this helps -

Yeah, no problem. It's a good topic that we've beat on quite a bit. Scotty sums it up pretty good, and if you take his suggestion there are a lot of mods to increase air flow using the stock box. Check "air box gut" and "K&N filters" in your search as well. And if you have something new to add, by all means bring it up. We like mods here.
