Couple of vids I took yesterday. You get a pretty good idea of what the car sounds like now with the CAI. I'll have a 0-85mph up Monday. Any requests? Just revving it in the driveway. Whine come out a little bit louder then it actually is. Click here to watch revving81Just a roll on from a right after a stop sign. The road curves slightly to the left (why the wheel is tilted). Probably the best sounding footage I have. Click here to watch roll-onA punch from about 10 mph after a toll. Turn it up and you can hear the tires squealing at about 4,000. TC finally kicked in at 5k, that's why the revs stayed there a bit. It was quite impressive (as audible). Wonder what the Taurus thought next to me lol. Click here to watch 10mph-punch

I think you should chop off the mufflers, it would sound so badass. Also I really think it would be a better idea to warm it up to 200 first before ripping into it like that..jeez.
Sounds good for stock though. Rip em off and then it will just kick

Rip em off and then it will just kick I bet it would sound awesome with no mufflers, just not sure of the everyday drive-ability as she mostly sees stop and go with random highway miles. Most of the sound though came from the CAI or actually just the cone filter. The box dimmed it down a little bit. sounds real good.. much better than mine. Wish I wasn't lacking those two cylinders. lol Yea, but imagine if it was a 3.5 classic! Talk about land yacht! Did you get the similar sound thing I was talking about? How its like yours.

actually, after watching it again and then watching mine, they sound very very similar. The most noticable difference is yours revs quicker to redline because of the gear ratio, while mine takes longer to reach redline. The intake near redline sends a slight resonance through the car.. you can feel it against your feet. The engine sounds powerful.

actually, after watching it again and then watching mine, they sound very very similar. Heheh, I was thinking the same thing. Your pre-Borla videos sound pretty much just like any stock-exhausted Aurora clips anyone has posted. If you compare yours to my stock clips, the only difference are the revs vs speed as you said, and perhaps how quickly it reaches speed. Even with exhaust done, the interior clips of peoples cars all sound fairly similar too. I wonder if that's because video cameras suck, or if they just sound pretty much the same? I thought my car and Steven's sounded fairly different in person, his was more musclecar sounding. I wonder if they sound pretty much the same in video, though?

Thats a good point to bring up bob and i noticed it too. I used a crappy digital cam for most of those vids, not the minidv. I dont know though, it may sound the same on video for most of the exhaust modded cars here. I remember hearing yours when you posted it (before meet) and it sounded pretty loud. But the engine also sounds different, designed differently or something. I think they reworked a lot of the internals.
