The Car Connection publicized a rumor today saying that GM wants to sell SAAB to either Renault or an unnamed Chinese company. SAAB promptly denied this. _______________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

Hrm, GM's only real connection to the European market?...not a good move.
The new lineup of Saabs are impressive machines.

Hrm, GM's only real connection to the European market?...not a good move. GM has Opel and Vauxhall in Europe. But GM Europe is hurting, as is Saab. Much of Saab's sales are of the 9-3, which of course is built on GM's global Epsilon platform, not a Saab platform. And the 9-2 is built on a Subie. So if GM sold the brand, they could easily still have cars in those segments. I don't know why the heck they ever bought Saab in the first place...

I love those Saab cars, my friend just got a new one, it's pretty slick, kinda wierd, it has heated cloth seats, and it actually seams quicker than the aurora, i suppose it probably weighs about a thousand pounds less though I like volvo's too, who's the parent company for them, or are they on their own.
