The new Cadillac DTS. Looks much better than the out outgoing DTS/DeVille. Much more edgier, even if it is just a sheetmetal makeover. Still powered by Northstar V8's. One Northstar is referred to as "Northstar NHP". Any idea what that mean's?

When I keep my Aurora as a collectible, I might buy a DTS

I believe there is a DHP model, for Deville High Performance? That comes with the L37, now rated at 286hp (due to new SAE methods, not due to changes to the motor).
The DTS has also gotten cheaper than before. I think Caddy is on the right track. Nice cars, a variety for different tastes, and more reasonable pricing.

[img src="http://xs45.xs.to/pics/05361/Nissan-Maxima-2004-001[1].jpg"] += new DTS. I like the old one's more premium lines better. Though the interior on the new one is a ton better...

I like the old one's more premium lines better. Though the interior on the new one is a ton better... I do too. The new Caddy style is ok on some cars, but not on all of them. I prefer the old Deville look too. But the lower price, more features, nicer interior, the car is really stepping it up.

I would drive it As for the Monte Carlo, its ass is perhaps even uglier than my Maxima's ;D I don't feel so bad now.

That is one sweet Cadillac. I've seen them and they are very refined and classy.

I wish Cadillac didn't go to the letter system for names. My poor lame brain can't keep track of the models.

I wish Cadillac didn't go to the letter system for names. My poor lame brain can't keep track of the models. D = Deville (DTS) S = Seville (STS, SLS) C = Catera (CTS) That may not be exactly correct, but that's how I remember the different body styles (in comparing them to the old names). The '06 DTS does look better IMO, but I too am still a fan of the older, smoother body styles (2001 model year or so).
