Here is a link to check out 1 of a few of GM's upcoming crossover's (incl. Buick Rendevous). The picture is the Saturn Outlook. The chassis can accept V6 and V8 motor's. Could GM be hinting to at the arrival of the first V8 powered minivan? No. It is actually something similar to the Pacifica that Chrysler builds. Call it a 'kinda sorta". The platform it is based on though is the next platform for the GM line of minivans. Curious about what V8 they slide under the hood. A DOHC unit or a small block.

The Ford Freestyle is another example of a x-over. Better looking than the Pacifica, IMO.

You are correct indeed. It looks like the wagon is on a comeback in the North America. Granted a 'pumped up' kinda wagon.
