I guess I see this as a strong buy opportunity. I really can't picture GM going under. I think over a long-term investment, this would be a good entry point. But I'm not Mr stock guy. I wouldn't sink my life savings into it...

Thank you UAW for seeing to it that DELPHI and all the "Big 3" are financially unstable. When will they wake up? If ever? When they are all unemployed?

I've been saying for a long time that the unions are choking the big 3. But there is more to the story than just the unions, the big 3 were very complacent during the 1970's and 80's. Quality issues abounded, the cars downright sucked and the Japanese got very good at making good cars. The big 3 have been losing market share for years and really have to pull up their socks if they want to get their businesses back on track. Concessions from the unions now would pay big dividends in the long run.
