i know i might just be going with a fad here, but is everyone here familiar with the chrome door pillars that we're seein on cars a lot now, such as caddys and buicks? tryin to find a pic now, but those of you that are familiar with them...are they available for 2nd gens? www.exoticwooddash.com/EWDPPDetail.asp

That would of looked real nice on the Aurora's, now my 300 Special M has them, they really add a nice touch to the car.

Ahh yes. The chrome foot plates from the 60s and 70's. They are so very nice, classy. Should have been on the Aurora.

oops guys..not exactly what i ment, but those are nice too! i ment chrome "things" that mount on the outside of the car, on the black plastic between the side windows...kinda hard to explain, still lookin for a better pic

While I haven't see them on a 2nd Gen, I've had the displeasure of seeing a green classic with them. It looked really bad IMO. The problem comes from the piece coming from a general kit that somewhat fits on. Therefore it protrudes out a bunch and destroys the flow of the body lines. But to each his own.
Also, why not do the front and rear side piece as well (the things filling the window cutouts)?

He means (from the site) this: It might be too flashy on your sterling Aurora... would probably be better on something black or midnight blue...

hmm... i figured they would look good along with the silver trim alound all the windows...but i guess you guys are right in that it would be too much on a silver car, thanks for the input
