I know it is juvenile but any chance we can expand the selection of emoticons available from the palette? You know like rock on!  |

It's a real pain. You'd have to fit a smilie to the given typing command. You can't set arbitrary ones, only replace the icons. I.e. you could use a different graphic for :) but you'd still have to type :) to show it. So they'd have to be smilies like what is there.
Then on top of that, each theme/skin would have to be updated or else you'd see different smilies depending on the skin you were using. It's not particularly friendly to smilie changes.

You can find crazy  emoticons on outside sites and put them in text  form here whenever you like. And it can be kewl to do so  So be kind to your emoticon friends,  and don't ignore them. You can even use them to tell a story:  |

yea there are a ton of different icons that you can use....i find them all over other site...its not really that important but its fun to have as another option with the site...  |

Go to Google and type in emoticons. A lot of sources will be pulled up.
