While we have a place for both flavors of Auroras it might be helpful for members to have a place to request mechanical help for other vehicles. While I understand we like to keep things Aurora specific, I have seen many people looking for a place to ask questions about other cars. What does everyone else think about this?

Around the Water Cooler = everything off-topic, right? I've seen many "other vehicle" topics posted there, which is exactly what that area is intended for - anything. I am reluctant to create a new section of the forum, that will take up space and maybe not be used all that much. JMO

You can post a question in the water cooler as many already do. You can also go to a vehicle specific forum with expertise on the problem with your particular model. I know we do have some technical brains on this forum but if I had a problem with my MOPAR for example, I would rather have it addressed at a MOPAR site. Besides, there is no reason to develope another department of redundency department when the info is already available else where. As far as our site's "mechanicals" I would like to see more ACNA members doing a little searching on their Aurora problem before they post a question that has been answered several times over already. We could reduce our own department of redundency department. ;D

What could be the problem? ;D

I feel bad for whoever actually runs a search for that now I can just imagine someone taking their classic out, presumably with a bad tranny, holding the pedal to the floor until it hits the limiter and starts wondering why its not working.

Lets just hope they get fished out of the gene pool before they are allowed to touch an Aurora.

Lets just hope they get fished out of the gene pool before they are allowed to touch an Aurora. Heh, indeed. Apocalypse, does it make sense why we would prefer not to create another new section of off-topic threads? We got a little off track here (as usual) and I don't want it to seem like your suggestion was totally disregarded.

This thread turned out to be much more entertaining then I thought it would.
