every time i try to load a forum page, i get forwarded to some stupid porn site called socal-files.com you are not the first, see below and try this... I don't know what would have caused it, but I'm guessing if you empty all your temporary internet files / cache and reset cookies (all from your browser) that should clear it up. In Internet Explorer, along the top menu go to Tools -> Internet Options. On the "General" tab (which should be up by default), click the buttons "Delete Cookies", "Delete Files", and "Clear History". That will wipe out all the temporary stuff that remembers you every time you get online. Restart the browser and see if you can login. In Firefox, it's a similar process. Go to Tools -> Clear Private Data. Once that is done, go to Tools -> Options. Under the "Privacy" tab, first select "Show Cookies" and then "Remove All Cookies". Restart the browser and check. Let us know if that works! I'll e-mail this to you also.

Thanks for the repost kk. Yeah dlegatt, a couple weeks ago there was a spam posting put in this 'Forum Navigation' section (the only area where a guest posting is allowed). It somehow affected users' browser preferences, but reseting and clearing everything as stated above should fix it. Please post back with the results.

I had this problem last week. Hubby fixed it by blocking the site URL of socal files.

I had this problem when I signed up and clicked on the activation email. Somewhat disturbing, I logged in on a different browser and did the manual activation instead.
