Check any autoparts store or even ebay. You'll have to special order it.

People have told me that they are bad for the paint behind them. Is there any truth to that?

People have told me that they are bad for the paint behind them. Is there any truth to that? Yes. No matter how tightly they are secured, the leather and elastic straps will eventually become worn out and stretch. That causes them to move around and rub the paint dull. Additionally, unless you remove them every time it rains or you wash the car, the inner fabric will trap moisture up against the paint. Rust is the result. Not to say that front-end bras have no advantages, but they are not a "install it and forget it" part like many people think.

also if the paint does dull on you all it takes is a high speed polishing to bring it back 2 life! the bigger problem is the water settling, for that you can take loose and dry with an air blow gun if you have access to a nice size of air compressor

Another proble I would think with them is that light is not being distributed on the car, and after you take the cover off, a fine line may appear between the covered and non-covered area.

if you're still in the market for one, take a look into 3M clear bra.

x2 bra's are bad news...don't worry about it scuffing up your paint....it's trapping the water in there you have to worry about...same reason header wrap isn't always a good idea.

I will never let my car wear a bra... any of them. I'm not going to cover up my car, If i'm going to have it I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest. Same goes for garaging cars in the winter. The only cars that deserved to be garaged are pristine classics(30+ years old), or if you plan on keeping the car nice for 30+ years. If I bought a new Corvette off the lot, I'd slap some winter tire/wheels on it, wash it a couple times a month for the salt and call it good... sell it 5-10 years down the road, and I'm sure with the proper paint conditioning over that time it would still be in pristine condition, like my auroras paint(waxed 2-3 times/yr, buffed/clay barred every now and then), and it is fine. But if you feel like keeping paint chips off, try 3M's paint protector... it isn't a bra, and you can't even tell it's on there(unless your like a foot away), but a bra you can tell from wherever solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Scotchgard-PPF/Home/?WT.mc_id=www.3m.com/paintprotectionfilm
