I thought I downloaded the coupon off Pennzoil's web site, but I cannot find it. Scottydl pointed out that the fine print says you need an original form.
I am going to send mine in and see what happens. Worse case, I lose the postage.
Regardless of the rebate, Walmart sells the oil for $4 per quart.
So use the rebate form at your own risk.

ski, have mailed off this rebate (and/or received anything) yet? If everything goes thru with it, I'll happily give Pennzoil a try... the offer is good until 12/31/06 and I have about 7400 miles left until my next change.

Sweet, I'll have to remember to pick up a case of that next time I'm at the store... maybe I'll watch for it to go on sale since I have some time.

That oil should not be considered equal to oils like Mobil1, Redline, Amsoil, or Torco. It is a lower level synthetic, only a bit better than plain old Havoline oil...
The deal will perform little better than normal oil, and cost more, too...

I currently have this oil in my Aurora. I'm very happy with it. I like it more than the Valvoline MaxLife full synthetic I was using.

I've gone from Mobil 1 to Wal-mart's brand of full synthetic and been happy with both... I'm guessing the Pennzoil will fall somewhere in between, and that sounds like it's worth a try.

I read on bobtheoilguy forums that the new Pennzoil is on par or better than Mobil 1. I know that some people are very picky about oils, but I think the major synthetics are probably pretty close in quality.

Deal on top of a deal! Single quarts of Pennzoil Platinum are BUY 1 GET 1 FREE at Advance Auto thru this month... $5.78 for 2 quarts of synthetic ($2.89 each if ordered online, free shipping over $50). Buy the oil that way and then send off for the $15 rebate and the oil is darn near free. Saw the print ad in a local store yesterday and thought I'd pass that along. I plan on taking advantage of it.

I *just* received my $15 rebate (in the form of a Mastercard gift card) today, after submitting everything in the mail on 12/19/06. Silly rebates and their unnecessarily long processing time. But at least I got it! Thanks again skifast for the heads-up on that deal.
