I am using Rotella synthetic 5w-40 in a low mileage Aurora. Too early to make any observations and reach any conclusions, as I just changed it this weekend.
The Rotella synthetic can be found at WalMart for a little under $17 a gallon. It has a good amount of zinc in it, which is what I am looking for. However, I understand that the formulation will change and the zinc level will probably drop. So I am stocked up on the present formulation with the higher zinc level. The way to tell the difference is that the present formulation is marked as meeting CI-4+, and the new formulation will be marked as meeting CJ. The zinc level is being reduced to reduce the potential of some of the newer catalysts being contaminated.

What is your oil pressure during the first few minutes of driving start up?
I don't know about yours, but I always hit 67psi and then the oil filter bypass kicks in once or twice when it's warming up, how does the 15 wieght behave as far as pressure on cold start ups?
What's you Idle oil pressure when warm in park?
