I've used hoseless washes, but never waterless. No way I would use something waterless either. Here's a product I like for washing in the garage (if the cars not dirty or it's cold out or for whatever reason): www.protectall.com/qelg.htm

Seems like a similar principle there, except as you said water is used for the wash portion. Even in the garage though, doesn't all the dirty wash water run off the car and all over the garage floor?

Nope. Some water drips on the floor, but a fairly trivial amount. Mostly it stays on the panel or in the wash mitt. You have to dry each panel carefully because the water has dirt suspended in it.
It works very well though, but can require more care if the car is really dirty. It's not a replacement to hose washing, if you can hose wash, do it. But it's a nice option to have.

I washed the 'vette tonight hoseless. Well, I used the hose to wash the wheels and wheel wells and hose under the car. But I didn't want to wash outside as it was hot, so water spotting was an issue. Plus the 'vette body holds gallons of water, so hose washing is a pain when it comes time to dry. Here's the buckets after: And the car all cleanified:

While ordering pads for my new buffers at the Autogeek site I came across a soft silicone squeegee for pushing most of the water off of windows and large panels after washing. I went ahead and ordered one yesterday...can't wait to see how it works??

I'm talking like a ton of water sits in the gas tank fill area, in where the rear hatch meets the body, in the side mirrors, etc. Drive the car after washing/drying and a ton of water will dump out of it. A squeegee won't help with that.
