Well, this could be performance or maintenance so if it gets moved I understand. Its really my endorsement........
Issue: Minor hesitation, poor response from low RPMs and standing starts. Car running well, but about 87% of where Julie's immaculate 99 runs.
Course of action: The car is going from Tn, to Il, to WI, to MN, to WI, to Il, to WI and finally back to TN over the next two weeks. The 95 has warranty and roadside and we try to minimize the 99 miles.
1. Changed Oil 2. Added Restore 3. Had the Trans Solenoid preventive Maintenance done ($87 plus parts, and the tranny looks mint at 70,000 miles.) 4. Added 6 ounces of LUCAS fuel system treatment to a full tank of premium 5. Drove from Tn to Chicago on Friday
Results: Throttle response is now instant, car runs much smoother, driving is even more fun. I thought it was a 95 anomaly but likely a dirty fuel system. It runs as it should with light throttle pressure required to get going smartly.
I reccomend highly using the LUCAS fuel treatment.
What a difference!!!!!

Issue: Minor hesitation, poor response from low RPMs and standing starts. That's the exact same thing that's going on with my 96, I'll have to try that stuff.

OK, an update. Julie just ran 309 miles on 12.8 gallons. The DIC was within 1/10th of a gallon on its usage readout and she yielded 24 MPG. We had been getting very erroneous readings, as much as 2 gallons off, and poor gauge action. I suspect the Lucas properly lubed and cleaned the sending unit as well. You really must try this if you have fuel system issues...!!!!!!!!!

I agree: I've been using this stuff for 3 years now. I buy it in the 32oz squeeze bottle. Never leave home without it.

My 95 Aurora has Lucas Oil and Additive, Transmission Additive, Power Steering Fluid, and I use the Fuel System Cleaner. I understand why people love it. It's a great product. I think that's why my car is still in one piece. Granted I have a Power Steering leak but that Lucas stuff stops it for about a week before it starts back up.

Just put the Oil Stabilizer in at the last oil change on our 96 3.1L Corsica. First time for me in any vehicle, although I have been using the Top Oil for a long time. Lifter noise is greatly reduced. There's more power to the wheels too; can light them up from a standing start. I can't believe it (or maybe some of the oil was spilled on the tread ). It has over 168000Km on it. It's going into the 'rora at the next opportunity.

Comes in a pretty big bottle. How much do you squirt in the gas tank?

ive used it but never felt it did anything, it seems most of it is oil so i dont know where its goingto help with clogged injectors. Ive used gumout and have always felt a good response after but I think it may have a octane booster in it.??

Ive used gumout and have always felt a good response after That's called the "placebo effect". None of these cleaners will make an immediate difference. Their claim is that they will help when used regularly. At the bobistheoilguy.com forums, I that Auto-RX and the Chevron Techron additives are considered legit but I'm not sure about others. Even octane boosters are mostly bunk, they only increase your octane level by something like 0.1 and cost the same as 1-2 gallons of gas.
