Where did this guy get these cool center caps at?? They look like different wheels, though thats not my point. any idea?

this was on a 1998. does your 01 have the aurora emblem in the center cap?

That is a 2001-2002 16" wheel and center cap.

Those are awesome. Would those work on my 97? I know one of my covers is starting to flake and I would like to replace them with those.

Yes, as long as you stick with the 2nd gen Aurora 16's.

Yes, as long as you stick with the 2nd gen Aurora 16's. I'm assuming that the 2nd gen center cap is either a little larger or a little smaller than the 1st gen cap (prolly larger?). If they use the same attachment scheme, would it be fair to say that the 2nd gen could be trimmed to fit the smaller wheel? That may be a daunting task for some but a walk in the park for your local body man. Wouldn't be cheap but I'm sure it would be a lot cheaper than buying new rims. I'm thinking to trim and paint about $40 per cap. I might try this just to see...
