what is the width on the stock tires for the aurora? I was just checking out my tires because they look real wide.. 255

Stock tire size for the Classic is 235/60R-16.

255's is probably the largest you can get before rubbing becomes an issue.

I thought wide tires would look cool on this car. But reading up on it, I found it would throw off the handling characteristics of the car. It would be interesting to hear how going from 255 to 235 affects the handling.

Wouldn't it make handling a lot better? Wider tires = better handling... sure, more drag, less mpg, but I can't see how it would be bad for handling?

i'm sure it wouldn't because the 255 is really not that much heavier than the 235. you would have aliitle bit more rolling resistance but not enough to notice if the car is correctly aligned
