Well, my Turanza's were shot last winter so I finally broke down and bought some new meats. I hemmed and hawed over brands and what to get and finally decided on some Dunlop SP Sport A2 Pluses. Let me just say wow, those tires look mean as hell. They are of course a high performance tire so you sacrifice some of the nice ride and I really haven't had a change to put them through their paces yet, but in the reviews section on tire rack they had lots of good things to say. One guy even reviewed them on his 96 Aurora and what sold me is he says "I finally have the luxury sports sedan that I was after with these tires."

Not sure that I know anyone who is running them but by your comments they are definately worth considering. Did you stay with the stock size ?

Yeah, stayed with the same size. Only road noise I get is when turning corners and the tires are biting in. Drove it to my mom and dad's last weekend and other than a slightly harsher ride (very slight) I was very pleased. Got ride of the rough road vibration, cornering was better, and thanks to the tires, steering rack and alignment it drove itself basically. The reason you may not know of these it because they are a new release to improve upon the old generation SP Sport A2's. Dunlop was having premature wear issues, too harsh of a ride and very bad road noise according to what I read about them. These new ones are supposed to be a vast improvement.

I had the old generation Dunlop SP Sport A2. My impression was similar - harsh ride, road noise, and cornering squeal were all more than whatever else I was running on my other cars at the time.
