After a little research on tirerack.com, I settled on a set of P235/60VR-16 Yokohama AVID V4S and had them installed today. I am very pleased with the quiet ride and responsive performance of these tires! *edited for picture size by erw38*

Looks like a great tire. I was going to try those at one time, but I went with the Khumo's instead.

I run them on my 95. Nice ride and great performance. When they need replacing I will get another set.

There are one of those all time favorite tires. Very popular with universal good reviews. Hard to go wrong, best of luck with them.

Other than the 70 mph shimmy (I don't think is because of the tires) ... these tires are extremely quiet and smooth!!

but I went with the Khumo's instead. Any opinions on the Khumo tires, they are the best price.

Sweet, I'm probably going to be buying 2 here soon. I got the car with a set of new goodyear integrity's and pretty worn continentals. These will be to replace the continentals, as they're getting down to the wear indicators. P.S.: for anyone buying, integrity's suck

Following some of the advice at TireRack and here, I'm going with Egale ResponseEdge on my stock 16" rims. Am just coming off Michelin MX4V which I felt wore too easily.
With the expectation that the Eagle RE will grip through turns better, I'm already wondering if I'll be doing the swaybar mod in the near term.
Like tire rack, what would you all think of running a poll/survey for the tires that we are all running? Know that we have a variety out there - interested in the distribution. Thoughts?

I think you will like them. Quieter than the MXV4+, they seem better in rain, and have way more dry grip.

I used to sell tires for Big O Tires and Sears Auto Centers and we sold Kumho's. They were the number 1 tire @ Sears for customer complaints. There are better tires such as the Yoko and Falken Tires. But our tire size 235-60-16 can only be found now-a-days on the Honda minivan. Many tires are designed with that in mind with the T and H Speed Ratings. I personally only run V or W Rated Tires so I go with the Falkens and BFG's.

I've been searching for tires for the Intrigue for the last couple of weeks and no matter where I went they recommended Yokahamas, I wish I would have seen this thread previously, it would have saved me some time and gas.

Big fan of Goodyear ResponseEdge - very quite, very smooth, and they have a solid aggressive look. I agree that the dry road grip is great and am eagerly awaiting a wet road.
Having put them on my stock rims, I really appreciate the 16" size - the look of a big sidewall compliments the proportions of the car imo.
BTW, if Kauffman Tire is an option where you live, highly recommended. Goodyear shop wanted 150+ (valve stems, balancing, etc) per tire, Kauffman $134 all in. Saved considerable money, plus have free lifetime rotation, balancing, and flat repair. Really a great option.
