does anyone know if the centercaps on the 2 gen will fit the wheel of the classic? with the price of wheels id be happy for now just swapping the center caps for chrome ones off a newer aurora, will they fit the same?

Take a look on Ebay (there are usually both types for sale) to compare. The 3.5L 16" rims are soooomewhat similar, but still not even close. The 4.0L 17" forget it!
You'd be better off looking around for 2nd gen rims for a full swap, if you like that look.

There are some 2nd Gen 17" wheels on ebay now, but without center caps.

Try this site: www.centercaps.net/ It was mentioned in another thread, but they seem to have most everything, and the prices are pretty good. Tried to get one for my rora, but they won't ship to Canada.

i decided to just buy some factory chrome center caps for my classic on ebay. they were 67.50 for the set of 4 including shipping, thats 16.88 each, cheaper than the plain plastic ones everywhere else, and thats for chrome! chrome brake dust shields are next!

I bet that looks kinda different, you should search for all chrome OE rims now. It will help unify the look.

nah, i like this look actually. the chrome brake shields will really change the look once i get them
