Well I got started today about 8:00. Things to be covered: New Radiator, Alternator, Intake Gaskets, Pressure Relief Valve Cure, Transmission filter and refill w/dexron VI, Oil Change, Throttle Body cleaning w/gasket, Intermediate Hose from Water Pump to Resevoir, Tire check, and Full Detail (yes, I know a hurricane is coming). I've got out the camera and am taking pictures to do alternator, intake gaskets, and pressure relief valve cure writeups

Good Luck. Like to hear your thoughts on the dex VI/dexIII mix once you've driven it for a few hundred miles.
How do you know when a press relief valve needs to be done?
Be sure to park the aurora on the roof before the hurricane comes.

IMO the only true way to tell if the pressure relief needs changing/RTV is if all sources of misfire have been gone through and your fuel trim is off. Jason would know better than my self though. I asked my parts guy about mixing III and VI. He said he didn't see why not. With any luck I'll be outrunning the hurricane headed for Alabama on vacation.

How do you know when a press relief valve needs to be done? When you can spray carb clean at it and your engine idle stumbles. This would be the easiest way to check. Btw, this is not a GM recommended procedure, they want you to use propane to check for intake leaks.

All work is completed! Took about 12 hours but that includes misc. runs to the store and a trip to the house to eat dinner and love on the wife and kids.
