is there a chrome dress up kit available for the 4 liter? maybe something for caddys that will work? i was looking for chrome lids for the dipstick, tranny, PS,radiator cap, etc. the hoses are all ready covered. but the engine oil is different than the standard "threads" b/c all the ones i see won't work

An oil cap from an LS- motor will work. I stole my dads stock corvette emblem'd one off his C6 and it worked on the Aurora. But I wouldnt chrome your engine because that holds heat in. And you don't exactly have alot of room to disapate the heat.

got a chrome oil filler cap off a -06 GTO i had to grind on one edge very slightly, now it works. i used a power steering lid/dipstick off a late model GMC truck. i had to cut off 1/8 inch of the dipstick so it would clear. as per another thread i think i can use the power brake booster cap off a corvette and a washer tank lid from a pt cruiser. thats the fun part of customizing (finding and making stuff work thats not for this car) as far as holding in heat i'm not worried about it. we are only talking about lids/caps not a whole lotta chrome really. besides, i am eventually porting out the hood and installing hood louvers so that will keep it cooler than anyone elses aurora on here
