Well I just purchased a few different things in the Turtle Wax Ice line of auto detailing products. Got the Ice Car Wash, Liquid Claybar, Ice Wax and the Ice Quick Detailer. Now just so you know I almost never buy something without first doing a little research. I've heard nothing but good things about these products so I thought I'd give them a try. Here's my review of what I've used so far and I will update if anyone is intrested and please let me know if you've used these products and what you think of them compaired to others. I'm always looking for something better.
First of all I've been using Meguires NXT Generation Carwash, NXT Generation TechWax 2.0 and Mothers California Gold Quick Detailer. I also used Mothers California Gold Claybar kit when I first purchased the car 1,100 miles ago. I wash and quick detail the car atleast once a week and wax every two weeks. I like to keep her looking as good as she runs.
Meguires NXT Gen Carwash vs. Turtle Wax Ice Carwash. Ice wins hands down if you ask me. Both products clean the car well but the Ice gives you thicker suds and seems to sheet the H2O better then the NXT Gen Carwash. I don't recall the directions on how much to use per gallon of water but the ICE carwash seems to require less soap to get a good foam.
Mothers California Gold Claybar vs. Turtle Wax Liquid Claybar. Keep in mind that I did claybar my car with the Mothers Claybar Kit 1,100 miles ago and I keep the car clean and garaged. Judging on ease of use, time spent to get the job done and end results the Ice wins. Took me less time to clay the entire car with the Ice then it did to clay 3/4 of the car with the Mothers kit. My car already had a pretty good finish going on when I used the ICE product so I can't say how well it will work on a car that has been neglected. Might be best to use an actual claybar the first time and then use the ICE as preventative maintenance. I especially liked the fact that you don't have to worry about dropping a claybar and ruining it. Also the ICE is used just like a wash mit. Do the entire painted surface with no need to worry about going around emblems or anything like that. Just make sure you rinse often and rinse well. This stuff is a liquid but it takes more H2O to wash off then soap.
I will be using the ICE Wax when I get up in the morning so I will let you know how it stands up against the Tech 2.0 in the easy of use and end result catagory. Only time will tell how long it last and how well it protects but like I said, I'll keep everyone updated.

Just got done waxing with the Turtle Wax Ice and it looks pretty good. Goes on easy, comes off easy and leaves a great shine. I doesn't leave any white residue if you get it on molding, infact if makes it look cleaner and brighter. I must say that I'm pretty impressed with this line of products and I recommend them to anyone that wants to keep there car looking good without a lot of hardwork that comes with the usual detailing. I'll let you now how the quick detailer works in a few days after I use it.

Did you get the chance to try the detailer?

That's interesting. I tried the Ice wax and overall wasn't all that impressed. It goes on nice and easy but it didn't seem to leave the shine or last as long as some of the better non-synthetics. Personally I love the black magic wax and have been very impressed with it. Yeah, it takes a little more work to apply, but it also seems to last much longer and leaves a better luster.
Just my two cents

Thanks for the review ;D
I have heard mixed reviews about this product, but I haven't actually used it. I do have to admit that I'm concerned about having a liquid claybar. It's hard to believe that a liquid can remove all the embedded contaminants in a paint like a regular claybar can.

i bought pretty much the entire Turtle Wax ICE line, ICE car wash, ICE polish, and the ICE interior care. they impressed me alot, especially the polish, as it leaves NO residue on plastic, which alot of other stuff does, and the 2nd gen has considerable amount of plastic, such as the grill and mirrors. i wash mine every couple weeks, wax every other time, about twice a month, and it usually doesn't need a wax when i wax again, so i can't say i agree that it doesn't last as long. the interior cleaner works wonders as well. haven't tried the detailer or the liquid clay bar, but overall i give it an A. love Turtle Wax stuff, use their extreme tire shine stuff too.

How has this Turtle Wax Ice been holding up for you? Would you still recommend it? I'm running low on my Meguiars 3 step bottles, and I was thinking of trying something new.

It's hard to believe that a liquid can remove all the embedded contaminants in a paint like a regular claybar can. I'm in the same boat. I'm fairly open to different brands when it comes to washes and waxes, but I just can't see a "liquid claybar" having the same effect as a physical clay bar. I may pick up some of the wash since I'm out of wash soap ATM. but, when it comes to claybarring, I'll stick with the real deal I think. Great review though marine, thanks for the insight.

I just bought the ice car wash and it suds up very nice and washes the car much better. After my claybars used up I'm going to go with a 3m glaze seing as Ice doesn't offer a glaze product.

It's hard to believe that a liquid can remove all the embedded contaminants in a paint like a regular clay bar can. I purchased some of the liquid clay bar and I also purchased a Meguiars Clay Bar Kit. I have to say honestly the Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Clay bar worked 95% as well as the Meguiars traditional clay bar. The only downside I can see is that the liquid clay bar comes with a sponge applicator, which you must thoroughly wash to use it again. If not you're obviously just marring the clear coat/paint as if you overused a traditional clay bar. I think the whole line Turtle Wax Ice products are excellent IMHO. ;D

Agreed, I recently bought the ICE total interior care and love it. I've always used Armor-All but this is much better for the following reasons:
It can be used to clean & condition leather, vinyl or plastic without leaving everything greasy looking and feeling.
Takes minor stains out of carpet
Smells great (not like a bag of sweaty socks like armor-all)
Does not leave streaks on glass!!
I'm going to give the car wash a try once my Rain-X is gone.

Just tried the ICE car wash, very nice. I was debating between this and Meguiar's Gold Class. Decided to try the ICE because they claimed it wouldn't leave water spots, which it didn't so I was happy. Lathers very nicely and leaves the paint with a nice smooth finish when done.

Made all the plastic look a lot better. I think I'll buy the liquid claybar and try it next.
