I was recommended this stuff by my father due to my clearcoat problems, he thought it would help. He used it on his Dakota, and I have to say it looked nice, but of course the paint on his truck is almost perfect, so it was hard to tell.
So I put it on today, and man. It does help, a LOT. I would recommend this to anyone with some dulling clear (which is probably a few people here :/), it took out a good portion of my light scratches and all of those little stone chips on my front end, and even helps hide some of the checking. The shine is amazing, but... there's always a but...
It goes on pretty easy, as it is in liquid form, but it comes off like a PITA if you leave it on too long. Like, 10 minutes is too long. Even if you don't wait, you have to buff pretty hard to get all of the residue off, and then do some more to get rid of the circular ghosts and streaks. Of course, that's something that is probably inherent with darker colours, and seeing as my car is black, I can see every single little imperfection in the paint. It also highlights pindents too, I found dents I didn't even know it had. :/ Well worth the effort though, as the shine is absolutely incredible. I may actually post a pic or two tomorrow, to illustrate.
I would recommend doing it in complete shade, where the sun cant bake it on (you'd never get it off, seriously, I can't even imagine), or even a garage would be better. So they say, for best results, wash first, then this, then wax. I haven't waxed yet, cos I really can't see the point right now. It's about $15 a bottle, and well worth it, highly recommended. : D
