There's nothing wrong with a work-in-progress car, It'll be cool to see.
I have SO many things to do to get ready for the meet... Need to polish up the chromes, detail the car inside and out, Re-hide some wires, clean the engine bay, polish up the exhaust tips, get some touch up paint... Looks like I know how I'll be spending my spring break!

I'm dedicating 1 entire day to detailing my baby, clay bar and color treatment, wash, wax, polish, etc. She is going to look magnificent!

just like it sounds a bar of clay, lol. They really work great at getting contaminates and grime off of your paint. You spray on some sort of detailing spray, then rub the claybar, you can feel it removing stuff. This was the aurora after a claybar...just look at that paint!! Wow, hadn't looked at those pics in a while. Looked sooooo good!!

Wow, hadn't looked at those pics in a while. Looked sooooo good!! Exactly, the stuff does miracles to paint that looks little less-than-shiny. You should really never hand polish/wax without clay barring, you will just create swirl marks from swirling around the tiny particles that you cannot remove through normal washing. Spray on clay bar is just a marketing gimmick. You need the ACTUAL bar or CLAY to get the effects. It's worth the time and effort. I will definitely post up some pics after I get a chance to use it on mine.

I'm stoked for the meet already. I can't wait to get out of the state for a bit with my baby. Need to get my power steering pump replaced once it warms up. I'm sick of pouring in fluid and the incessant whining.

ALL POINTS BULITIN- we need to decide on activities, and food. Are we bringing food or are we planning on going out? I PLAN FAR AHEAD PEOPLES! Are we going to have aurora bags there? Am I still the youngest one attending?

Yeah, I'm interested to find out who all is camping out, where at, and for how long. I don't want to get stuck without a tent. :-P
I'm planning on staying for the whole weekend: Driving up Friday, staying through Sunday. I'm guessing we'll have at least 1 cookout / pot luck, I'll bring whatever that travels well. Chips and salsa or something of the sort.

Unfortunately there don't seem to be many quality campgrounds in the area. We will likely be staying at Sycamore RV Resort, a nice-looking place but about a 40 minute drive. As far as food and activities, let's keep it low profile. Typical cookout stuff. Bring an outdoor game or two if you have them, maybe a deck of cards. I've got a homemade Ladder Golf set, and if Tony (Aurora Rancher) will still be attending with the Pace Car then I'm sure he will bring the Aurora bags.

If I have somewhere to sleep I'm planning on coming up on Friday, camping, then meeting up on Saturday, then camping, driving back on Sunday. I think that was Collins' plan as well, if he ends up making it.

I wont be traveling alone and I doubt my accompanying partner is going to like the ground too much. Who knows though

^^Why so secretive? Who is the accompanying partner? And there's nothing wrong with camping. I have extra sleeping mats too, you won't have to be on the ground. I camped out once a month for 7 years during Boy Scouts and I survived all the way to Eagle... you can handle one/two nights in a tent haha
