The ford lincoln dealer I am buying my Aurora offered the Ford Premier Warranty to me for 4 years or 46k miles, the car has 14k miles on it, the cost is $1695. Do you guys think this is a good investment?

make sure that its full bumper to bumper warranty.... electrical coverage most important.

I just found out it is the premier coverage that covers even more then a standard bumper to bumper, i was kind of confused because it is just through Ford so that means I have to take my car to ford dealership to get work but all the parts & labor is covered for my Olds. I called GM to ask if I could get a GMPP coverage but they said no.

make sure that its full bumper to bumper warranty.... electrical coverage most important. Also make sure engine seals/gaskets are included in there. The ideal warranty is *exclusive* in nature, rather than *inclusive* ... meaning they tell you in the text what is NOT covered and everything else automatically is covered. Inclusive warranties can be good too (that's what I had until it just recently expired) but there's a lot of fine print since they must list every single part that is covered. And if it's not in there and it's part of another repair, you end up paying out of pocket. Also find out if there are limits on number of visits, and your deductible per visit if there is one. That said, the price is pretty good. Only a little more than I paid for mine which was 48 months / 48k miles and covered a lot but was not bumper-to-bumper. P.S. That mileage is unbelievable!! Awesome.
