So it never occurred to me until now. I bought about $100 worth of Techron when I was on vacation (No Chevrons in my Province) and had it stored in the garage. Well it gets like -40ºF here and i was wondering if this has any effect on it. Did I just waste $100 worth of fuel additive? There are no labels on the bottles regarding the storage of the stuff so I don't know if I should junk them or if I can still use it? Any help would be appreciated

It should be okay. Either it sits in your garage at -40C or it sits in your gas tank at -40C.
Are there any Texaco stations in Alberta? Doesn't their gas contain Techron?

Texaco, hah that's a name I haven't heard in years. I think the last Texaco closed in like 1990 'round here. I kind of lied, there are Chevron's here, however they are Commercial Card Locks only, no storefront either. I have contacted Chevron on numerous occasions about getting their product out here, but unless I want to buy like 48 bottles a month, they won't even consider it

You ought to be fine if the only issue is cold exposure. If anything, cold will prolong life in most items & fluids. I would think age would be more of a factor in "expiration", and even there you'd probably have years to spare. You could get ahold of Chevron's consumer phone number and see what they tell you.

also its a petrol product and as long as gas is in a sealed container it can last all winter, doesnt really freeze, kinda gets a little thicker.
