I can not for the life of me think of how this would work. The only way I can think of is taking the head apart to apply it. Then you might as well put new gaskets in. If you dump it in I can almost guarantee you it will not work. When I bought my lumina it was over heating. Bad head gasket. Some one had dumped some crap into it and almost ruined the motor. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

Not worth the risk in my opinion. the liquid itself is put in through the antifreeze, you must drain all antifreeze and use strictly water. What is in this thermagasket are tiny particles of metal...REALLY TINY. And when there is a gasket problem the metal around the problem area is usually super heated to 2-3 times the engine temp. What the thermagasket does is, when it comes in contact with that superheated patch the metal bonds to the area. Causing a like gasket hold. Hence your fix. Now we had a lumina and before we had the gasket replaced we used bars leak block healer crap...it held for about a week until it failed misserably. The thermagasket is also said to cause no engine side affects because the remaining fluid is flushed out of the engine when you replace the water with an antifreeze leak.
