etc is the submodel of eldorado that got the 300hp motor. I was referring to Estimated Time of Completeion, e.g. when do you think you will have the project done? I probably should have just said that, so people wouldn't get confused lol

Haha it's just that the mod is talked about so much that you have to see it to believe it. Good to hear that it is progressing, though!

This is an amazing set of photos =) Get everything done right, and make sure to take numerous numerous videos when you do get it running (It'll be a while, I'm sure, but keep us informed like you are! Very interested)

Cool! It's the little details that make the difference. What car is that supposed to be for?

Good work. Interesting find with the thermo housing. I actually coincidentally painted mine with high heat flat aluminum paint. I painted it because mine had some corrosion similar to yours. No one ever sees it though haha. I am sure you will be painting the whole thing too!

That should look nice under the hood! Just curious, is there a reason you didn't just get a 95-6 coolant manifold instead of modifying yours to take the newer pump?

Never fear, I'll take pics of the specific mods needed for the bracket to clear the late style water pump belt tensioner. On a side note, it was cold when I got the bracket, and we all know what happens to 20 year old little plastic clippies under the hood when we try to unclasp them. I opted to sever the ignition wires at each end of the bracket and take the whole mess home to warm it up before further disassembly. After warming to room temperature and disassembling for cleaning (I totally used dawn dishsoap and a nylon brush) I was impressed to find the original ac delco wires inside.[/font] A big contributing factor to finding an unmolested piece!!
