I bought a set of 22" Rain-X Latitude blades and they're amazing, I would definitely recommend them. At $18 a blade they're not exactly cheap, but they are worth the price. They are designed to contour to your windshield so that they clean it evenly. I couldn't be happier with them.

I bought a set of these a little while back also and I like them a lot. Combined with the rain-x spray it makes driving in the rain nice.

Those are the ones I'm looking into for the Aurora...I have them on big brother Bravada and love them. I really dig the contour look too, I think it gives a nice line. The blades on the Rora were practically brand new when I bought it, first sign of streaking there coming off though.

I dont!!
I had a wiper fly off my window once when I was using the wipersi n a heavy downpore. And of course I pulled into the first shop I saw, only thing they had were those rain X wipers, So I payed 18 bucks for one and threw it on there...I HATED IT, I dont think it wiped well at all, and it more or less just smeered the water IMO.
But like everything else you can probably get a bad pair and maybe thats what happend.

i think your the first person to complain about any kind of brand of wiper that contours to your windshield.
its the only way you should go with wipers, rain x brand or alco brand.
those wipers wipe everything away without one little smear left behind.
trust me i know cheap wipers, on my work van those cheapest ones they get smear from the start.

I'm not sure which you had a problem with but the Latitudes normally are awesome.

Just to add to the archive of wiper blades, a long time ago I bought some Anco Contour wiper blades for a 2003 Mustang and I've been somewhat unimpressed. They worked great for about six months, but they progressively got worse. $14.99 each at the time and they smear easily with a dirty windshield. They collect a ton of dirt. They are kinda noisy. And over the years they have lost some of their rigidity. Rain-X windshield treatment helped but they're still pretty noisy (and smear but quickly dissipates.. I guess this is normal with Rain-X though). They work fine but I was expecting more considering I payed 2x what I should have. ...and there ya have it

I'm not huge on Rain-X either, Aura. I just use it because it seems to keep it clean and makes it easier to clean. Plus it's nice to see the water fly off.. over my hood and then over my roof. Awesome wax + rain-x = streamlined car I still use the wipers though. It doesn't feel right not using them.

How long did the Latitudes last xjsman89? I am thinking about buying a pair after reading your review. I can get them a little cheaper, we sell them at my shop. I bought a set of regular Rain X wipers about 5 months ago, they are still working good.

Haha funny that you should mention that. I was wondering when I had bought them because one of them is streaking a bit and needs replaced, but I didn't know how long they lasted. Apparently they last 3.5 years since my post in 2009 was right after I bought them! ;D I'll be replacing them with another set of latitudes. Great wipers.

I know, that's why I brought it up. 3.5 years is a long time for a windshield wiper. I'm sold for sure now.

I care David! Who's David? Wireless you are right, xjsman, bullying will not be tolerated here and I don't think the original poster would care for it much, if it's still around.

Those blades are $17.99 at advance. Spend $11 more dollars on something else you need. Use $20 of $50 purchase and walk away with what you want plus more for $30.
I personally like the Valeo 600 series wiper blades. I try to replace about every 6 months.

I looked on their website yesterday and saw the deal, maybe it has to do with the area? Oreilly carries them too and said they would match the deal for me.
