My dad still lives in Tennessee and we will be heading down the first week of August to stay with him in his condo in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for the whole week. The Smokey Mountains are beautiful and I hope to get some nice shots of the Sterling Beauty. I know my wife will totally make fun of me, but I don't care. I'll be looking for that calender shot. She really does love the car, though.
The trip is 486 mile from my driveway to the condo one way. I'm hoping to average at least 25 mpg. Should be very attainable even with driving in the hills.
I'm shining her up this weekend and gonna change her oil mid- week. Everything else checks out pretty good.
This will be the first long trip since I got her.

I'll be in Nashville from the 6th-9th, its almost 700mi for me... I averaged 25mpg on the way down, but by the time i got back it was down to 20.9 for the entire trip. I suppose 10.5hrs down and 8.5 hrs back didnt help much

If I'm not wrong, thats what went bad in my 99' and it ended up costing a little over 1000. to fix but the parts have a lifetime warrenty and were put in by a mechanic that I trust. Hopefully the 2nd gens will be a little easier on the wallet
You might also want to post this under maintenance to make sure it gets seen by the Aurora gurus on here
