Whats the difference from a super moderator and a moderator? I have heard the term global moderator on other forums but never super. Is there a Super Administrator floating around as well? ;D

Nothing really. ACNA has always been a bit screwy with the admin/mod thing.. Usually admin is reserved for the people who actually own the website/forum, and everyone else that 'works' for the board, the ones that usually post, are moderators. However since ACNA is a free proboards forum, no one really 'owns' it, so basically all Admins were the original founders and what not. Super Moderators have been added when needing to help with forum control. Why ACNA uses the term "Super Moderator" instead of just 'Moderator,' uh..... probably help with the explanation to Dan when he was added, that he was going to be a Mod and not an Admin like the rest of 'em. If there was a Super Administrator, she doesn't really post anymore ;D.

None of us at ACNA came up with the "Super Moderator" title. It's what is available through Proboards. Here's a short description of the 3 available "staff" positions: - Administrator - has control over the entire board and can modify any threads/posts, forums sections, or behind-the-scenes source code that determined how the boards "looks"
- Super Moderator - has limited control board setup, and can modify threads/posts anywhere on the forum
- Local Moderator - can only modify threads/posts in certain forum sections where permission is granted
We don't use "Local Moderator" here because there's really no need, so the only two staffers you'll generally see are Administrators and Super Moderators. Hope that clears things up!
