ive never tried changing my calipers on the aurora for performance onces as I find the stock ones work fine with performance rotors

i'm a bit new to the aurora world....just very interested in the possibilities. i've used primarily baer & brembo products on other projects, but they may not be applicable here. i think that baer has rotors that will work with the 18" wheels i'm considering.

its the product I have on my car for my rotors, what year do you have?
brembo and any other calipers really would not be worth installing on the aurora unless you plan to do auto-cross then I would suggest it but for normal DD driving and drag racing use their fine as stock or with performance rotors.
you can always paint your calipers they look nice at least lol and do great performance

you have the sp rotors? i'm still hunting for my project car. i'd prefer a 98 or 99 with exceptionally low miles. if my suspension geometry works out well i might do a little high speed rallying and playing on a road course. good brakes are a must! lol. like to go fast, but also want to be able to stop.........so how do you like the rotors?

I love my rotors, every time I need to stop in a hurry ( my ABS and traction control are disabled ) it stops right on a dime from doing 90km/h or 110 km/h ive stopped ridiclously good and has saved my car.
I also have the second cheapest pads you can buy so I can imagine if you put higher performance pads like ceramics or something like that you would stop much faster but you would be replacing your pads a lot since cross drilled and slotted rotors use pads faster

I had drilled/slotted rotors (R1 RaceConcepts purchased through eBay) and aftermarket Hawk ceramic pads on my '99 Aurora. I was very happy with the performance in all driving conditions. I always liked the idea of water and heat not accumulating on the vented rotors.
