Well, let me be the first to welcome you to the board, sorry it had to be about such news. Is the check engine light on? if so, either find someone with a code reader or take it in, that's about the best i can do for now

spark plugs and wires. mine was doing the same garbage before i replaced them. 4 of my wires were freyed. that also solved my over heating problem too cause i kept pegging 275 on the gage.

First off, Welcome to the board!
A few things come to mind: the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator), EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), Fuel Filter, wacky battery and/or loose connections to the battery.
I'd go with an FPR first. Some of the symptoms you described (ie. hard starts and stalling while driving/coasting) are pretty good signs that point to the FPR.
Do a search on this board for FPR and it will bring you to some good info.
Good Luck!
*edit*
check for vacuum hose not hooked back up.........look in your engine at the places the mechanic was at. I bet he forget to plug in/ hook something back up.

A FPR can run you anywhere from 50-90 dollars depending on brand. I put a borg-warner in. Works like a charm. Stay away from "high peformance" FPR's.

Has your Aurora had the fuel rail recall done? I'm not sure but replacement of the FPR may be part of the recall

I'm not sure but replacement of the FPR may be part of the recall Isnibs, The FPR is relocated due to the recall, but not replaced. hoohoo51, Good Luck with the new FPR! Remember to get the smallest black o-ring (the one that will be coverd by gas and therefor impossible to see) seated coorectly.

Glad you fixed the problem! You might want to consider eventually replacing the fuel filter - a clean filter is key to a properly functioning fuel system.
