ELC is the Electronic Level Control, I don't know if all the problems are related though. because the ELC is the rear air shocks and the traction control has to be the front wheels.

My fuse for the ELC blows about once a month, Go figger. You should check your rear shocks for leaks, mine had black rings of guck around the piston rods.
Oh and my ELC fuse is only a 20a.
What year is your Aurora?

Thanks for reply- shocks are possibly original rubber appears ok though some rust just below the rubber- white and marked 9882 but can find no Delco signature, planning to replace with Monroes soon- would that cause the fuse to go? Connections appear ok Fuse was yellow and you are correct- only 20A

When you replace the fuse, run the engine, after approximately twenty seconds the ELC compressor should start. If it continues to run and the rear of the car does not raise up then there is an air leak in the system, if however the rear of the car continues to go up and up then the height sensor is probably a goner.
The height sensor is mounted to the body frame in the rear of the vehicle. The sensor actuator arm is attached to the control arm by a short link.
