I know how to remove the lower part of the seat to get to the battery and such...
My question is how do you remove the rear seat/backrests...
Thanks!

Lower portion of the seat just snaps out. Firmly grasp the lower front lip and pull up. I've never done the backrest.

It's not hard just a little time consuming.

You remove the rear seat by hauling up on the the lower seat until it releases on the locking th back seat you have to remove 2 bolts where the seat belts are located and on top of the seat there are 4 clips you can access the 2 outer ones from the trunk if you want get a tool that you can haul down on a piece of the clip and push the seat ahead at the dame time to release or you then you can go inside pull the seat ahead so you can see the 2 inner clips push down with a flat head screw drivers release the clips you can also just do the 4 clips inside if you know where the clips are instead of getting in the trunk hope this was helpful the reason I posted this is because I seen a post on here that said pull up and it should release and it also said that he dad said if it dont go use a little more aggression and ignorence to move it .good thing I haven listened to that one or I would of broken the clips off the seat then I would of had to shop for a new seat

This thread is about 12 years old so I'm guessing he got it figured out. There is a tutorial in our how to section for changing the fuel pump that shows with pictures how to remove the seatback
