In the owners manual it says to lube chassis components at 50K miles. Exactly which parts does this entail and approx how much does it cost? I've got a '98 Aurora with 87K miles and I'm pretty sure this has never been done to it as it was a neglected leased car.

There are two zerk fittings on the rear suspension that are normally lubed when you go to the quick oil change place. My GMLinks page says: Chassis Lubrication Lubricate chassis components Interval: At 7500 miles
If they are talking about lubing the wheel bearings, CV joint, control arm bushings, etc. I am not aware of it. Sure would like to know, guess I'll check my '98 owners manual today. If this is the case, the cost would not be small.

In contrast, there are no Zerk fittings at any points in the 2001/02/03 suspension or steering. ________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!
