Ok, here is a crazy situation. AC lists TWO sets of replacement shocks for the Aurora on their web site as does Rock Auto. AC and Rock Auto numbers are: 504-96 and 504-547. Both numbers are listed. The local GM dealer has the same. Which is right? THANK YOU!

the GM part numbers are: 022064809 (passenger side) and 22064808 (driver's side) check prices at www.gmpartsdirect.comAlthough i would have to recommend some Monroe Max-Air shocks. They're a lot more heavy duty than the stock shocks. They also give a great ride. You can buy those at www.partsamerica.com

Do the Monroe shocks match up without any modifications to the air rides system? Also, do you think the Monroes are stiffer? Which model of the Monroe shocks did you purchase? THANK YOU!

What are you looking up or where? Thank you.

It's a direct bolt in replacement from the stock shocks. I replaced mine on the Riviera and did each shcok in half an hour. No modifications were needed. they were a perfect match. They are slightly stiffer than stock but still ride great. They also automatically adjust for road conditions. If the rear is bouncing a lot the shocks get stiffer. For example if you bounced the rear end up and down byhand it would get stiffer with each bounce until it stopped bouncing almost all together. This helps handling quite a bit too.
