Was under my 98 Aurora today to replace the fuel filter and found the wiring harness for the antilock brakes had the electrical tape worn off of them and wearing on the wires -evidently from wind, grime, grit etc. These are just behind the fuel filter and the level ride air pump unit. The upper portion of these wires are wrapped in a plastic wire loom. However, the remaining 2-3 inches before the connectors are wrapped with a little electrical tape. It's a good idea to check yours as well for such a critical system as they are.
