Designed a new one a while back, but never produced it. This one is using 32 of the lumiled superflux versus 16 in original design. Also added a flasher unit a few months ago. Only uses flash sequence for initial braking. Then goes solid. If brake is released and pressed again within IRRC 5 seconds it will not flash again but go solid. Back of PCB: CHMSL Flasher Unit - Still Available - Assembly Required LED PCB and Flasher Unit Connected: PnP: Lit Up: Short Video: Will drop it in this evening. I passed state inspection with flasher but your mileage may vary!!

Hey gene, I know awhelage has the same flasher unit installed on the 2G LED CHMSL. It is probably working well. The name of the kit is there on the PCB.
