Cool pictures! Any relation to the Chaparral racecars that competed at LeMans and the CanAm races? ;D

skiiirt: The actors speaks both Swedish and English. This camp is a US-Sweden mix, so to speak. Just as the history of it.
.. and no Mr Xjsman ;D (But I think the old smoky steam engine can give you and your Aurora a challenge..) lol

The old cowboy wisdom is true! Love it! Lol. Just curious....why would there be a place like that in Sweden? I read what you wrote, just seems odd to me. Great pics!

When Big Bengt built this up it was his dream. Sweden is called here in Europe for the "little America" just because of our history and our way of life. A large part of America where built by Swedes as this is part of the story. Time passes and much of the history of our country in between fades sadly away. America and Sweden were quite similar when the emigrants came back here and took America's traditions with them, and vice verse. Look at a company like IKEA. The Founder live near High Chaparall and there is just one example. We have more of American programs in the TV than Swedish or European. Our cars are the largest in Europe and the rules are favorable. We have English as a second language and a requirement in school. Sitting with my 9-year-old, helping with English lessons each day now. Believe that our children are more knowledgeable about North America than Europe. I see my son as an example of it: Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and so on .. He has no idea that Italy's capital city Rome. That the U.S. capital city Washington, he knows! lol (and yes, he knows that Oldsmobile is a American car, Aurora is the Queen among them and the phase out GM story. But he has learned that from his father.. lol)

...please send photo of horse and saddle, haha! Good stuff Arne. Looks like a slice of the old west there, thanks for sharing. My Swedish ancestors landed in Ohio, then some moved further west.

Neat! Thanks Arne ;D It's really to bad to hear that the children know more about America then Europe! So much rich history out there, way more then our culture out here.
