110 is cheap HF 90A MIG. It does the job though! I put it on it's own 15A(IIRC) breaker. 220 I "inherited". Also have gas too but tanks are empty and paying to refill them any time soon.

For the record, I have been using the same cutout for over two years now with no problems and not a single complaint. Great prodcut, and a great mod! Probably the best mod that I've done to my car to date. On-demand exhaust is where it's at!

Can you and Sall post up links for the kits you guys got? I'm contemplating this again and would like to see my reliable, tested options.

I pieced mine together. Pypes Electric Exhaust Cutout Kit - 2.5 in (saves space and can rotate), Badlands switch (smaller rocker switch NOT toggle), Summit/JEGs Y-pipe and downpipe flare. Sounds great too!

I got the single kit from DMH Performance. $200 shipped with everything you need save for muffler clamps (if you plan on clamping instead of welding it in, of course.) 4 year replacement warranty; I haven't had to use my warranty yet. Works great, opens quick, no leaks and no problems to date. I would recommend it! I put mine after the resonator. It went in easy and sounds just like straights only a little better, since you don't have all that pipe to go through. I have compared the two, and straights sound a little more "raspy" if that makes sense. I'm interested to see what Sall finally settled with, the last I recall he sent back his DMH kit and went with someone else, but I don't think I ever heard where he got his kit/parts from. You should do it, man! You'll love it. If I could only do one mod and I had to choose between projectors and the cutout it would be a hard choice, but I would choose the cutout.

I bought mine from BadLanz HPE. You will want the 2.25" inch kit. These have 5 year warranty and Charles was great to deal with. I exchanged several emails before choosing his cutout. I also really like how the final install went even though they offer an even lower profile one now. I have had no issues and oil mine about twice a year. The turn down was included with my kit at the time, I would recommend using one. I also ditched the switch, made a custom H-Bridge voltage regulated PCB and use the CarPC to control the opening and closing. Touch screen button cutout opens and automatically turns off when fully open(or where I have it set to). Likewise with closing. I don't have to hold the button down manually for 2-3 seconds. Also, catback paint has not cracked/bubbled or peeled at all.

Thanks guys, I'll weigh my options. Not so sure about doing it this year but it may be in my future come spring.

No problem. The Badlanz HPE standard cutout has a much lower profile than the DMH standard cutout as well. DMH also do not carry the proper 2.25" Y adapter AFAIK. QTP is another brand to try. If you search hard enough you can find complaints for every brand and praises as well.
