Trying to find a person or shop that can rebuild my aurora 4.0 v8 engine that currently has 215,000 miles on her. Tired to find a low milage engine but the lowest I could find was a 110,000 mile engine and was looking for one with under 50,000 miles. Thx in advance for your help.

Called them earlier today and they told me to call back tomorrow and automotix said around $3500 to rebuild my old engine with a 7 yr /100,000 mile warranty

I would gladly pay that for a pristine 4.6L and save myself the hassle of a rebuild or junkyard engine and not knowing it's history.

tipsy is this a reputable site? yup these people have been around for sometime, and $3500 for a rebuild with that kind of warranty really is a sweet deal! (if you ask me, with new head stud inserts?)
