I wanted to know from anyones experience if I can run a hi flo cat on my 01 aurora v8 without throwing a code. The reason I ask is b.c I wanna put on a corsa exhaust and putting on the hi flo makes it sound much better. I did the same setup on my 99' caddy seville sts without throwing a code, but not sure it be the same on this car, thanks.

yes nearly any and all performance cat systems will not throw a code, unless you go the cheap route like me and some others have...(a gutted cat) if it does, there's a connector you can use to set the 02 sensor farther back from the gas flow and will give u a clean reading.

All you need is a mil eliminator and you won't throw a code even with no cat at all.

My '01 threw an "inefficiency" code about once a week until the PCM was upgraded.
