Load Assist Shocks

Anyone try these kind of shocks? I have the air ride shocks but they seem to be hard as a rock. I know you can buy new ones for like 50 bucks but i want a nice ride.

I would think them would be stiffer. They will be exerting upward pressure all the time irregardless of the load, air shocks adapt to different loads determined by the linkage on your suspension. It will only apply as much force as necessary to sit level.
